The National Women's Soccer League signs new TV deal with CBS
The National Women's Soccer League has signed a new TV deal with American channel CBS and Amazon-owned streamer, Twitch.
In a multi-year deal, CBS will show the first round of matches and the final. While, CBS Sports Network will air 14 more games and 71 others will be on CBS All Access.
Twitch will be streaming 24 matches.
NWSL commissioner Lisa Baird said: “This new media-rights agreement is a watershed moment for women’s soccer in the US and around the world and is the first time NWSL matches will be available to such a wide audience.
"These partnerships will continue to amplify the NWSL and its teams on a national and international stage.”
In order to watch all of the games on the All Access channel viewers will have to pay $59.99 for a year's subscription.
