All professional football in Spain has been suspended indefinitely and will only resume when the Spanish government decides it is safe to do so.

The news comes after a rapid rise in deaths caused by the coronavirus as the toll rose by 462 to reach a total of 2,182 on Monday morning.

LaLiga has not played a full schedule since the first weekend in March.
