Kobe Bryant inducted in Nailsmith Hall of Fame
Basketball legend Kobe Bryant will be inducted in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Bryant died earlier this year in a helicopter crash aged 41 alongside his 13 year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others.
Throughout his career, the LA Lakers star earned all 18 All-Star elections and was the National Basketball Association's Most Valuable Player in 2008 before he retired in 2016.
He also won Olympic gold medals in the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games with the USA team.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver said: "Kobe Bryant is synonymous with NBA All-Star and embodies the spirit of this global celebration of our game.
"He always relished the opportunity to compete with the best of the best and perform at the highest level for millions of fans around the world."
Alongside Bryant, former players San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan and Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett will also be inducted.
