Anthony Joshua in self-isolation after Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus
World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has gone into self-isolation after it was revealed today Prince Charles had tested positive for coronavirus.
Joshua met the Prince of Wales 16 days ago at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey and therefore has had to comply with government rules by isolating at home.
The announcement regarding Prince Charles came earlier today, but he is said to have only shown mild symptoms.
A spokesman for Joshua said: "AJ is at home following government guidelines, he is fit and well.
"He wishes everyone affected a speedy recovery and a huge thank you to all the front-line key workers."
Joshua is currently preparing to face Russian Kubrat Pulev at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 20.
However, the Brit's promoter Eddie Hearn has said the date could be moved to July if coronavirus continues to disrupt the sporting calendar.
