Worcester Warriors re-sign Cara Brincat and Zoe Heeley
Premier 15s side Worcester Warriors have re-signed two players ahead of next season.
Back-row Cara Brincat and winger Zoe Heeley will both remain at the club though the length of both deals has not been disclosed.
Brincat signed for Warriors in 2017 and has made 33 appearances in the Premier 15s for the club.
She said: "I’m proud to play for Warriors and as I move into my fourth season with the club, I couldn’t be more excited than I was for the first.
“Our growth as a team has been phenomenal and I can’t wait to return to action.”
Sian Moore, a lead coach at Warriors, said: “It’s great to have Cara re-sign with us. Her versatility really boosts our pack and she’s a very athletic back-row with a great work-rate. She’s definitely one to watch next season."
Heeley joined the club ahead of last season.
She added: “I’m really excited for my second season at Worcester and I’m really looking forward to seeing the club continue to grow under Jo [Yapp, Warriors coach].”
And head coach Jo Yapp said: "Zoe has gone from strength-to-strength and has so much potential, despite still being relatively new to the game.
"She is eager to learn and having made a strong impact in the Premier 15s towards the end of last season, we are excited to see how Zoe develops over the coming season.”
