The fastest man in the world has been a little slow to announce the name of his new daughter, but Usain Bolt has finally made the big reveal.

Bolt and his long-time partner Kasi Bennett have called her Olympia Lightning.

The eight-time Olympic champion announced the news on social media and also shared photos of Olympia for the first time as the pair celebrated Bennett’s birthday. 

Bolt uploaded a series of images, commenting: "I want to wish my gf @kasi__b a happy birthday. I get to spend ur special day with u. I want nothing but happiness for u & will continue to doing my best keeping a smile on ur face. 

“We have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt.”

Bolt retired in 2017 after the World Championships in London.
