Tyson Fury shares poster appearing to call for Dillian Whyte v Daniel Dubois for undercard of his fight with Anthony Joshua
Tyson Fury has called on Dillian Whyte to fight Daniel Dubois after sharing a poster on social media.
The photo shows Fury opposite Joshua, Whyte opposite Dubois and promoters Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn eyeballing one another.
The Gypsy King recently reached a financial agreement with Joshua for a two fight deal, with the first expected to take place in 2021.
Meanwhile, Whyte is the mandatory for Fury’s WBC heavyweight title and is due his shot at the belt before February next year.
However, Fury is contractually obligated to take on American Deontay Wilder in a trilogy bout later this year.
Therefore, providing he is successful in that fight, the 31-year-old could side-step Whyte in order to get the Joshua fights on in early 2021.
What Fury appears to be suggesting as an alternative for Whyte is for him to take on ‘Dynamite’ Dubois on the undercard of his clash with Joshua.
Dubois, 22, is a young, undefeated heavyweight prospect who, like Fury, is promoted by Warren.
He currently boasts a perfect professional record of 14 victories from 14 pro bouts and is tipped to be one of the future stars of the division.
But there has been no prior talk about a fight between himself and Whyte and neither ‘The Body Snatcher’ or his promoter Hearn have commented on the possibility of a clash with Dubois.
