Tyson Fury claims he's eaten 20 Easter eggs and is a stone overweight in lockdown
WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has admitted to gorging on Easter eggs during the coronavirus lockdown.
The 31 year-old was doing his daily morning workout on Instagram Live on Tuesday with his wife Paris and was joined on video call by his brother Tommy and Love Island star Molly-Mae.
Tommy, who is also a professional boxer in the light-heavyweight division, revealed he ha put on about four stone during the country's shutdown.
In typically energetic fashion, Tyson replied: "Tommy, we need to lose a stone me and you.
"I’m about 19 and a half stone, I need to get back down to 18-and-a-half. I I’ve been doing this every morning for three weeks and I’m still 19-and-a-half."
Paris then popped up and said: “He’s still eating all the kids' Easter eggs," and Tyson replied: "Well I’ve had about 20."
Fury is currently at home with his family in Morecambe during the coronavirus pandemic following his victory over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas in February.
The trilogy fight between the two heavyweight titans has been rumoured to be taking place in October after Wilder triggered his rematch clause.
The bout was initially earmarked for July, but the COVID-19 crisis is likely to push it back to later in the year.
