The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard film featuring Salma Hayek, Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson postponed until 2021
The movie Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard has been postponed until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It was scheduled to be released on August 28 this year but has now been pushed back to August 2021.
Star of the film Salma Hayek announced the news on Instagram and revealed she is ’bummed’ by the postponement.
The 50 year-old said: “Because of the confinement the release of HWB has been postponed to the summer of 2021. I’m kind of bummed because I can’t wait for you all to see it.”
The action-comedy is a sequel to the 2017 hit film The Hitman's Bodyguard.
Starring alongside Hayek in the new film will be Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson, Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman.
