Tennis star Serena Williams returns to court with two-year-old daughter in matching purple outfits
The 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams has returned to the court, but this time joined by her two year-old daughter Olympia.
The pair teamed up and wore matching purple Nike bodysuits and rackets, and shared high-fives to celebrate their performance.
Williams, 38, posted a series of images on her Instagram to her 12.5 million followers.
Several athletes have gone into meltdown over the images, as former NBA star Dwyane Wade commented: “If this isn’t the cutest thing I’ve seen.”
Serena’s sister Venus, wrote: “I just love her and you too much! If this gets any cuter I will NOT LIVE!”
Former tennis player Caroline Wozniacki added: “Oh my gosh!!! This is the cutest thing I have ever seen!!!”
British-born American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson said: "THIS IS INCREDIBLE! "2035 WIMBELDON DOUBLES CHAMPS!"
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Williams hasn’t played since February’s Fed Cup qualifiers in Washington.
The star will be preparing ahead of the US Open which is scheduled to begin on August 24 in New York.
