Struggling Birmingham host Tottenham midweek as both sides look for much needed Women's Super League win
Birmingham take on Tottenham at the SportNation.bet Stadium on Wednesday in search of a second Women's Super League victory of the season.
The Blues' solitary win of the league campaign so far came against the only side below them in the table, Liverpool.
Aside from that, they have suffered heavy defeats to Manchester City, Brighton, and most recently 6-0 at home to Chelsea.
They take on a Spurs side who have failed to impress themselves in their past couple of performances.
Coming off the back of a 2-0 defeat in the North London derby, the Lilywhites were easily dispatched by Everton 3-1 last weekend as they slumped to a fourth defeat of the season.
However, two of Tottenham's three wins in the WSL have come on the road - against Bristol City and West Ham - so they will no doubt see this as an opportunity to pick up points.
A win could propel Karen Hills' side into the top half, while a win for Birmingham has the potential to lift them from 10th to eighth.
Lucy Quinn and Rachel Furness have formed a strong partnership up front and will be at the heart of everything Spurs try to create.
Meanwhile, Lucy Staniforth will be looking to inspire her side, who have not netted since she slotted home in the 2-0 win over Liverpool at the end of October.
The match kicks off at 7:30pm on Wednesday and will be available to watch on the FA Player.
There will also be a full match report of the game on NewsChain immediately after the final whistle.
