Great Britain's Sophie Hahn has broken her own world record to win her fourth T38 100m title in a row at the World Para-Athletics Championships in Dubai.

The 22-year-old clocked a staggering 12.38 seconds, putting clear distance between herself and Hungary's Luca Ekler in second, more than half a second back.

Australia's Rhiannon Clarke took bronze ahead of another Briton Olivia Breen in fourth.

Hahn, who has cerebral palsy, has now won six world gold medals across the sprint distances, with the four 100m victories coming at Lyon 2013, Doha 2015, London 2017 and Dubai 2019.

The Paralympic, European and Commonwealth champion quashed expectations of a world record when asked about it earlier this year and so was visibly elated when she found out she had done it.

She said: "I've worked so hard for this. It's been a long season and I'm happy to see the work has paid off."
