One Direction's Liam Payne drops hint of reunion for 10th anniversary of group forming on X-Factor
Liam Payne has hinted he and other One Direction members have spoken about a reunion ahead of their ten year anniversary.
Payne fanned the rumour flames during an interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show.
He said: "I'm not allowed to say too much obviously because I would be giving it away. We've been speaking a lot more at the moment, I think we are all feeling that ten years...it's a very special moment."
Back in January, Tomlinson said about a reunion: “I think it’ll happen at some point, we’d be stupid not to.”
The band were created on the reality TV show The X Factor in 2010 when judge Nicole Scherzinger suggested the five boys, who entered the competition individually, became a band. The specific date for their formation is July 23.
There's even a suggestion that disgruntled band member Zayn Malik will be joining the other four members for the show.
Malik left the band mid-tour in 2015 citing stress as the reason which sent shock waves through their fan base.
Payne along with Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson recorded another album and went on another tour before the band called a hiatus in 2016.
Reunion rumours were ignited when the rest of the band refollowed Malik on Twitter.
