Netball Scotland announce four-year plan to help boost sport's popularity
Netball Scotland have announced a new plan to change the country's sport across the next four years.
The governing body wants to improve performance across the board from grassroots level all the way through to the international tiers.
One of the main aims is to lead netball's sustainable growth 'through raising performance, profile and participation'.
They are also looking to 'advance netball's infrastructure and empower people to thrive and succeed'.
Scotland finished in 11th place at the 2019 World Cup in Liverpool.
And the country's only professional side in the Vitality Netball Superleague Strathclyde Sirens finished second-bottom of the table last season.
In Scotland alone there are 216 netball clubs with a total of 7,000 players, coaches, umpires, officials and volunteers that Netball Scotland have to cater for.
