Liverpool hoping to finally secure elusive Women's Super League win against West Ham
All 12 Women's Super League teams are in action this weekend on what promises to be a thrilling day of domestic football.
So far, we have already previewed the huge clash between Chelsea and Manchester City, as well as Everton's trip to Manchester United.
Next up, it's the struggling, winless Liverpool who are looking to move off the bottom of the table with a win over West Ham.
Liverpool vs West Ham
Four straight defeats for Vicky Jepson's side actually reads far worse than the performances they have put in.
Their last two results, against first and second in the division, were 1-0 losses to Arsenal and Man City from which they can take great heart.
The Reds have conceded just 10 goals this season - the joint-least of any side outside the top five - and yet they have lost seven of their eight games.
Obviously, the problem that they face is they cannot seem to score goals.
Melissa Lawley's penalty is the only time Liverpool have hit the back of the net so far in this WSL campaign, so they need to find their shooting boots quickly.
West Ham, on the other hand, were recently involved in a thrilling, topsy-turvy game with Man United in which they came back from 2-1 down with eight minutes to go to win 3-2.
Matt Beard's side have failed to win back-to-back league games so far and so will see this match as a real chance to change that statistic.
Katharina Baunach, who netted the two decisive goals against Man United last Sunday, will be hoping to add to her tally.
But The Hammers have conceded the most goals in the league apart from Bristol City, so this may be an opportunity for Jepson's struggling Liverpool to finally bag a goal from open play and maybe, just maybe, break their duck.
The match kicks off at 2pm on Sunday and will be available to watch on the FA Player.
There will also be a round-up of all the WSL games on this website shortly after they have all finished on Sunday evening.
