Friends star Lisa Kudrow excites fans by teasing about what to expect from reunion show
Friends actor Lisa Kudrow - who plays Phoebe Buffay in the hit US sitcom - has revealed the hotly-anticipated reunion episode of the show will be more than just a sit-down interview with the cast.
The team announced earlier this year that they would be returning for a one-off special, but what that would entail was not divulged.
Many fans believed it would simply be a recap interview with the six protagonists, however Kudrow has now sparked further interest after suggesting it could be much more.
Speaking while promoting her new Netflix comedy Space Force, she said: "It is definitely going to happen. We just keep putting dates in the calendar. When we can do it, we will do it.
"[The planning] was pretty far along, but it seemed pretty clear that if people can't gather then we can't do it.
Cryptically hinting at some other surprises in store for the fans, she added: "There are other things in it.
"There are other things to it; things I shouldn't really talk about because they should be good – but those things can't happen [right now].
"We just decided on another date and we'll see if we can do it then."
Friends is widely considered to be one of the most successful comedy shows of all-time, with more than 52 million Americans tuning in to watch the finale in May, 2004.
