England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff shares lead at LPGA’s Drive On Championship in Ohio
England’s Jodi Ewart Shadoff is sharing the lead with Celine Boutier and Danielle Kang ahead of the final round of LPGA’s Drive On Championship in Ohio.
The 32 year-old birdied her final hole on Saturday to move into the top spot as the three stars battle it out for the title, all of which are five under par.
It is the first LPGA event to be held after the coronavirus pandemic halted the season.
Shadoff is looking to win her first LPGA Tour title after having 20 top ten finishes during her career so far.
She said: “I like to play in difficult weather. Having wind or rain is fine - but having both can be a little bit of a challenge, so I'm glad that on Friday we had the wind and on Saturday we had the rain.”
The event is without world No 1 Ko Jin-young who decided to withdraw over virus concerns.
