Billie Eilish granted three-year restraining order against obsessed fan who kept showing up at her house
US singer Billie Eilish has been granted a three-year restraining order against an obsessed fan who showed up at her house seven times.
The 18 year-old filed a temporary restraining order last month against the fan named Prenell Rousseau.
He appeared outside her family home in Los Angeles on May 4 and 5 and kept ringing the doorbell through a ring camera, according to TMZ.
In court documents Eilish said: “While we waited for security, Mr Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in periodic monologue. My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused.”
Eilish’s lawyer initially asked for a five-year restraining order, but the judge granted three years, as Rousseau had not attempted to visit the singer’s house since the two days in May.
The order, made by Los Angeles County superior court, prevents Rousseau from contacting Eilish or her parents, or come within 100 yards of them.
