Adelina Engman leaves Chelsea to join Montpellier
Chelsea forward Adelina Engman has left after after two years to join French club Montpellier HSC.
Engman signed for Chelsea in 2018 from Swedish club Kopparbergs/Goteborg. She has played 25 times for the Blues and scored six goals.
She suffered a thigh injury against West Ham in the Women’s Super League early on this season which resulted in less game time.
Chelsea manager Emma Hayes said: "I know Adelina hasn’t had the best couple of years, due to injury, but she’s made telling contributions when they mattered.
“She’s been a great team-mate off the pitch, a pleasure to coach, and I look forward to seeing her career progress at her new club.”
