MMA fighter Valerie Loureda denies plastic surgery after fan calls her out on Twitter
MMA star Valerie Loureda has been forced to deny she has had breast enhancement after a fan called her out on Twitter.
Loureda has not fought since she beat Larkyn Dasch in Bellator 222 due to injury. She was set to return to the ring in January but injury meant that she was unable to.
The fighter shared a gym session with her followers in her rehabilitation to get back to competing.
She wrote: "Happier and more motivated than ever. Made big changes in my life and it’s paying off."
But a fan replied to the tweet, claiming that Loureda had surgery. The Twitter user wrote: "Amazing the attention people get when they get implants."
Loureda responded: "LMAOO. I have the most natural body a woman can have."
As well as defending herself from Twitter trolls, Loureda came out in defence of Joanna Jedrzejczyk after social media targeted her for how she looked following her fight with Zhang Weili.
Jedrzejczyk suffered a massive hemotoma which meant she had a lump on her forehead.
Loureda wrote on Twitter at the time: "Y'all need to stop making fun of Joanna. That's f***ed up.
"She made it worth your money and fought like a warrior. No grappling, no wrestling those girls stood there and showed beautiful exchanges.
"You need to have more respect for the woman in this sport and what we do."
