Sir Elton John to host star-studded virtual benefit to help those affected by coronavirus pandemic
Global megastar Sir Elton John is set to host an all-star benefit special that will honour America's front line health care workers, and raise money for charities supporting those affected by the coronavirus crisis.
The hour-long "Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America" will feature the legendary musician as well as a number of stars who will appear from the comfort of their own homes.
Among those on the roster are Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, Billie Joe Armstrong and the Backstreet Boys.
According to Fox the artists will be 'filmed with their personal cell phones, camera and audio equipment' and streamed during the advert-free one-off special.
The concert will be aired by Fox on Sunday March 29 at 9pm ET and will also be broadcast on iHeartMedia radio stations.
Proceeds from the event will go to Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation.
