Love Island star and NHS doctor Alex George says health care staff have all had 'a bit of a wobble'
Love Island star and NHS doctor Alex George has said that he and his fellow staff have all had 'a bit of a wobble' during the coronavirus pandemic.
George was a contestant on the 2018 edition of the reality show but chose to go back to work as an A&E doctor after the series ended.
He works at a hospital in Lewisham, London and has spoken about his experience on the frontline.
He told Sky News: "The morale is still very good at the hospital, I think we're very lucky in the NHS. We pull together in times where we really need to.
"There has been occasions where we've all had a bit of a wobble. I think we've felt either afraid or concerned or upset by what we have seen, but we are lucky to have a really good family around us in our colleagues.
"We do pull together, we support each other when we need to so the morale is good. We appreciate the public's support, backing us and helping us get through this."
