EastEnders star Dean Gaffney has been criticised by his co-star Jamie Borthwick for partying in Ibiza while ‘people continue to die of the coronavirus’.

Gaffney posted a photo to Instagram and captioned it: “Never alone”.

Borthwick, who plays Jay Mitchell in the BBC show, commented on the post and said: "Accept at party's surrounded by onlyfans girls when there's 1k dying a day."

A former EastEnders actor Michael Greco was quick to correct Borthwick’s grammar as he wrote with laughing face emojis: "although it's Except not Accept." 

Gaffney, who plays Robbie Jackson, then replied and said: "Haha LOVE this Grecs love this! Touché Jamie x."

The actor has been on holiday in Ibiza with friends including Celebs Go Dating pal Joshua Ritchie. The pair posted to social media recently about a boat party they attended.

And while he parties now he is facing a two week quarantine when he returns to the UK.
